Dr. Reginald Bell:
Professor of Chemistry

Commonly known to all students as simply "Reggie," Dr. Bell has a level of energy that most students have trouble keeping up with!  In addition to his mastery of the Periodic Table of Elements, he is also a master of the Ping Pong table.  He has received multiple distinguished teaching awards throughout his 45 year teaching career at Kettering.  Reggie has served as an extremely active advisor to Theta Xi since 1945, and in 2009 was awarded "The Greek Life Faculty Member of the Year Award."  Reggie is not able to be initiated into Theta Xi due to his affiliation with another fraternity during his college years, however his guidance and experiences are welcomed with open arms.  Unfortunately, Reggie passed away sometime during mid July 2015.  More information can be found at www.kettering.edu/remembering-professor-reg-bell.

To our Fallen Brothers Everywhere:

"...So bye-bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy down to 2829 Sunset Drive
And them good old boys were drinkin'
Whiskey in Rye Singin' I'll be
Theta Xi till I die..."
